Hello there,
I’m Roberto Lazarte,
the director behind
Lost Arte Films.

I’m a Peruvian-American filmmaker and photographer based in Los Angeles, and I combine storytelling with evocative visuals to create work that connects and inspires.At Lost Arte Films, I lead a dedicated team focused on producing documentaries, music videos, and branded content. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with organizations like Disney, Warner Bros. Records, Cal State Universities, and Southern California Edison. Together, we’ve created pieces that have been celebrated at festivals, aired on broadcast networks, and reached audiences worldwide through digital platforms.For me, it always comes back to the story. At Lost Arte Films, we approach each project with purpose and ingenuity, and strive to capture moments that resonate and elevate the human experience.

Awards & Recognition

“A World to Win” received Best Drone Film at the Orion International Film Festival, Best Documentary Short at the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, and was officially selected by the American Documentary and Animation Film Festival.“#PoweringThruTogether” won the People’s Choice (Video Category) at Chartwell’s EMACS.“The Spirit in the Valley” earned an Award of Merit (Documentary Program/Series) at the Indie Awards.
